Officers in Oklahoma on Tuesday mentioned the variety of hashish cultivators within the state is now about 3,200, down from 9,400 in 2021, KSWO reviews. The sharp decline comes amid a crackdown by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) and Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) on unlawful companies working beneath the guise of the state’s medical hashish program.  

In August, OBN mentioned it had shut down greater than 800 illegal hashish farms over two years that had used the state’s permissive medical hashish system to domesticate hashish for the illicit market; however in Tuesday’s replace, OBN mentioned that determine had climbed to greater than 1,000. Officers mentioned that the enforcement actions have led to greater than 200 arrests and the seizing of greater than 700,000 kilos of hashish.
