“There could also be individuals who watch and say, nicely, what’s the massive deal? It’s simply marijuana. I don’t assume they’ve the total gravity of the scenario in regards to the violent habits, the quadruple homicides, the intercourse trafficking, labor trafficking, extortion, violence, arson, water and electrical theft and different points that we’re coping with out right here with these legal organizations right here in Oklahoma.” — Woodward to KFOR

Woodward added that the unlawful operations are hurting the state’s reliable medical hashish companies by driving costs down, which is resulting in closures and bankruptcies.

“And so, we’re going to do all the things we are able to to guard the companies whereas going after and sending a message to people who this isn’t a protected haven in your legal organizations to return and attempt to cover,” Woodward stated, “as a result of we are going to determine them and we are going to shut them down.”
