Curaleaf Dispensary Workers Strike In Arizona After Company Fails to Negotiate Contract

Employees at a Phoenix, Arizona hashish dispensary went on strike final week after the corporate, Curaleaf Midtown, failed to barter a contract regardless of the employees voting to hitch the UFCW Native 99 in June 2022, FOX 10 Phoenix studies. The employees are demanding higher pay and advantages, higher working situations, and security. They’re additionally demanding that Curaleaf Midtown reinstate a lately fired employee and begin advancing union contract negotiations. In accordance with the union, citing a criticism issued by the Nationwide Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the employee was fired for her union exercise.  

Nickolas Fredrickson, who works as a budtender at Curaleaf Midtown, stated staff are “demanding that Curaleaf come to the desk, and negotiate with us like they have been speculated to do when the NLRB ordered them to acknowledge us.”
